Dermal Fillers Perth

As we age, we experience volume loss in our faces. This is due to the water retaining fibres in our body diminishing over time and thereby creating deep lines, sagging skin and depletion of lips, cheeks and jaw volume. Dermal fillers are used to rehydrate and add volume back by injecting a synthetic form of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance found within the human body. Dermal fillers have the ability to rejuvenate and enhance facial features naturally.

What are the special advantages of having dermal fillers?

  • Fillers can reliably treat wrinkles at depths that other methods can’t
  • They are biocompatible and rarely cause reactions
  • They are non-invasive compared to surgical solutions

What is involved in the procedure?

Our expert Doctors will determine the areas and extent of treatment and discuss your objectives with you. A treatment plan will then be devised, which sets out how we can use dermal fillers to create the best outcome for you.

To help numb the area, ice is normally used and/or an anaesthetic cream. The product will then be injected with a fine needle into the area. At Utopian, we only use products which contain local anaesthetic, which further eases the discomfort often felt with dermal fillers. The procedure takes approximately 15  minutes to administer.

Are there any side effects?
Slight redness, bruising, swelling and tenderness may occur at the injection site/s. Results should appear very soon following treatment and settle within 2 weeks’.

How many treatments are necessary?
At Utopian, our Doctors use a long lasting dermal filler of the highest quality. Treatment frequency varies depending on individual requirements and the type of product used, our dermal fillers last from 12 – 36 months.
