What’s involved?

Ice and occasionally a local anaesthetic is used to numb the area. Following treatment, patients are advised to refrain from alcohol, exercise, or excessive lip pressure for 12 hours.

Are there side effects?
Side effects are rare, some may experience slight bruising, swelling and redness which will subside within days.
